About the Webinar

APS Webinar Conversations presentations are designed to provide a more informal, interview-style interaction between speakers and moderators.

In this APS Webinar Conversation Mike Walock, doctoral student at the University of Alabama at Birmingham (UAB) and Arts et Métiers ParisTech, shares his experiences as an American graduate student abroad.  The discussion focuses on dual-degree doctoral programs in Europe, and touches on how to navigate bureaucratic and cultural issues.
