The Forum on Industrial and Applied Physics (FIAP) hosted a workshop on Physics Careers in Industry and Government at the 2011 March APS Meeting in Dallas, TX. Speakers were chosen to represent a variety of perspectives, including physics in global corporations, physics careers in small companies and startups, and industrial physics careers as they relate to academic research.
