Neal Abraham
Five Colleges, Inc.

Tuesday, May 17, 2011
3:00 p.m. - 4:00 p.m. EDT

About the Webinar

There are many rewarding opportunities for teaching, research and service in full-time faculty positions at predominantly undergraduate colleges. In this presentation, Professor Neal Abraham, executive director of Five Colleges, Inc., explores the nature (and diversity) of college faculty jobs and how best to prepare for such positions.

Special attention was given to how to read job ads and position descriptions for nuances of institutional opportunities and expectations, how best to prepare application materials, and how to prepare for interviews.

Ted Hodapp, Director of Education and Diversity at the APS, moderated the discussion.
