About the Webinar
Join us for a discussion about the effect proposed drastic budget cuts--the so-called "sequestration"--will have on the American scientific enterprise, and more specifically on schooling and job opportunities for physicists. In this webinar, you will be introduced to the APS Office of Public Affairs and what their role is in serving you. The Office of Public Affairs and fellow student advocates discuss their advocacy experiences, the current state of science policy as it relates to funding, and how we can effectively advocate against drastic budget cuts that fund research.
Get Involved! These proposed budget cuts could have a big impact. Let your voice be heard! Sign this letter to Congress expressing your concerns about sequestration.
