Using the APS Logo
Usage
The APS Physics logo is a Registered Trademark of the American Physical Society. APS divisions, departments, and units may use the authorized APS Physics logo in connection with approved instructional and promotional materials. Commercial use is prohibited without written permission from Kerry G. Johnson, Art Director, APS Special Publications Department.
Guidelines
To insure proper use of the American Physical Society (APS Physics) logo, please follow these guidelines.
Official APS Logo
The official APS logo is two colors, blue and black, on a transparent or white background. Acceptable color variations are below. No other color variations are allowed without written permission.
Incorporating the APS Logo
The official APS logo may be incorporated into other logo designs as long APS colors are used and there is sufficient padding around the logo to maintain its independent space in the overall design. Any design incorporating the APS logo must be submitted to the APS Special Publications Department for approval.
Web Usage of the APS Logo
If the APS logo is used on any web page, it must be accompanied by one of these alt tags:
alt="APS Physics"
alt="American Physical Society - APS Physics"
