Thank you for helping to maintain the democratic traditions of the APS.

Selecting excellent leadership is the single most important activity any organization can undertake to insure its continued good health.

Both Nominees and Nominators must be members of the American Physical Society. All nominations will be reviewed by the members of the APS Committee on Committees as they draw up a slate of candidates for 2014 Committees.

Submitting Nominations

Nomination Deadline: August 31, 2013
Nominations are made online through the Committee Nomination Form.
Gray arrow Submit a Nomination

You are welcome to suggest multiple names for committees by submitting the form as often as you like. You may submit a nomination any time but if you want your nominee to be considered for 2014 appointments, APS must receive nominating information by August 31, 2013.

Supporting Documentation
Supporting biographical documentation is very important. Ideally this would consist of one or two paragraphs of career highlights and a few sentences on why your nominee is particularly qualified to serve on the committee. Please feel free to pass on any comments to the Committee on Committees by using the Comments section. You are also welcome to send additional information such as CV's to governance@aps.org. Nominees must be members of APS.

Nominate Yourself
Self-nominations are encouraged! Please let us know if you are interested in serving on a committee.
