Audit Committee

The membership of the Audit Committee shall consist of four members of the Council, who are not members of the Executive Board or are not otherwise directly involved in the business management of the Society, elected by Council to staggered four-year terms which may extend two years beyond their term on Council. The member in his or her third year of service shall ordinarily chair the committee. Following each fiscal year, the Committee shall review the audit with the Society's auditors and submit a written report to the Executive Board and to the Council, which shall include recommendations on fiscal management issues. In addition, the Committee will also review the Society's Business Continuity Plan and assure that it is up-to-date.
