APS Statements address issues relevant to physics in areas such as education, ethics and values, human rights, and national policy. Statements are crafted through a collaborative process involving the input of APS members, the APS Board, and APS Council to ensure that they accurately reflect the priorities and needs of the physics community.

Board Statements by topic
In instances when a current event or other situation arises that require a quick response from APS leadership, APS may issue a Board Statement. Unlike APS Statements, which undergo a thorough review and adoption process, Board Statements go through an expedited process. Board Statements may be submitted for the full review process to become an APS Statement.
